Steven Flanders joined Strategies for Wealth after a 20 year career in the media, publishing and entertainment industries. He has extensive strategic and business growth leadership, and a track record of driving multimillion-dollar revenue gains and introducing new strategies to increase market dominance. He has started new businesses, created new divisions of organizations, grown companies and turned others around. As a strong leader he has empowered teams to build, create, and execute strategic plans for growth and/or turnaround.
Immediately prior to Strategies for Wealth, Steven repositioned Synapse (a $300 million division of Time Warner) from a seller of magazine subscriptions to a provider of innovative marketing solutions to its 250 clients. In 2006, Steven was asked to take on the role of COO of very high profile non-profit - Seeds of Peace (SoP).
In 1994, Steven founded and ran a prominent marketing consulting firm - Entertainment Management Group (EMG) that was sold to J. Walter Thompson in 2002.
Steven began his career working for Peter Ueberroth at the Office of the Commissioner at Major League Baseball. He also worked for the Calgary Olympic organizing committee and was a member of International Marketing Group's (IMG) - the most successful sports marketing firm - corporate sales and marketing team.
Steven is an attorney admitted to the bars of New York and Massachusetts. He lives in New York City with his wife and four children. He is conversant in French.
